Admonition of Ramadan: Don’t be Arrogant!

Admonition of Ramadan: Untying the Shackles

Admonition of Ramadan: Untying the Shackles

All praises be to Allah, peace and prayer of Allah be upon Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

Brother, check out the saying of your beloved Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- below:

When the beginning of Ramadan comes, the devils and rebellious genies are shackled. The doors of Hell are closed and none opened. The doors of Paradise are opened, and none closed. And there is a caller calls, “O goodness seeker, be haste! O evil seeker, stop…!” And on every of it’s night Allah will free half of His slaves from the Hellfire. (Narrated by Al Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, and this is the text of Tirmidhi).

Brother ! If in Ramadan the devils are shackled, and doors of Hell are closed, but you are still tempted to commit wickedness, then who tempt you?

Think about it! Perhaps, for all this time, the devil merely serves as a complementer in every of your evil deed.

Brother! The Messenger of Allah – peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- and the predecessors had engrave the history with golden ink on month Ramadan: Battle of Badr, The Conquest of Mecca, Al Qadisiyya, Al Hitthin, etc. But why do you feel lazy and weak in the month of Ramadan, as if there is no history that you carve? Or maybe you are one of those who are shackled in this holy month?

This is the time to improve yourself and set it free from every shackle in this Ramadan, by repenting and beseeching Allah the Exalted for purity for your soul.

Good luck.
