Question:
What is the reason, or the causal, that Allah created human being?
Answer:
The reason of creation is for the creature to worship Allah alone, as explained by Allah Himself in His decree:
وما خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
“And We did not create the heavens and earth and what between them in play. We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.” (Ad Dukhan/The Smoke: 38-39)
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا ذَلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
“And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelief.” (Shaad/The Letter ‘Shaad’: 27)
وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
“And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.” (Al Jaathiyah/The Crouching: 22)
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
” And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Adz Dzariaat/ The Winnowing Winds: 56)
