Ustadz (the title for religious teacher in Islam), is it permissible for someone, man or woman, to recite Qur’an while his/her awrah left uncovered?

A question was posted to Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Shaleh al Othaymeen about the ruling of a woman who recite Al Qur’an without using veil. Is such action allowed?
He replied: “There is no requirement for a woman to cover their head to recite Al-Qur’an. Since there is no requirement to cover awrah when someone intend to recite Al Qur’an. And this case is different with shalat (prayer), since it is not valid (accepted) until the awrah being covered”. Fatawa Nurun ‘ala ad Darb: http://www.ibnothaimeen.com/all/noor/article_4805.shtml
Similar question was also proposed to The Syabakah Al Fatwa Asy Syar’iyah. And the answer from Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hajji Al Kurdi was: “If there is no argumentation/indication which indicates that such action is a form of abusing or disrespecting Al Qur’an, then it is not forbidden. However, it is not appropriating the right manner when someone want to recite Al Qur’an.”
Allah Knows best.
