You could get a house in Paradise, by Allah’s permission, only by spending 15 minutes of your time in a single deed!
You could get a house in Paradise, by Allah’s permission, only by spending 3 minutes of your time in a single deed!
You could get a house in Paradise, by Allah’s permission, only by spending 15 seconds of your time in a single deed!
Or even better, You could get a house in Paradise, by Allah’s permission, only by spending 3 seconds of your time in a single deed!
Spectacular!!!!
Now, if you’re really curious about the deeds, be kind to read these explanations below.
1. Have faith in Allah, because whoever live in faithful state, and die in faithful state, will get a tent in Paradise, by Allah permission. The Messenger of Allah once said:
“”Indeed, a believer will get a tent in Paradise made of a hollowed pearl, its span reaches 60 miles. A believer also will have wives in it, whom he will go around to join. Some of them don’t see some others.” (Narrated by Muslim).
2. Have faith in Allah, and perform the righteous deeds
{وَمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُم بِالَّتِي تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَى إِلَّا مَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَاء الضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَهُمْ فِي الْغُرُفَاتِ آمِنُونَ}
“It is not your riches nor your children that make you near-stationed to Us, except for him who has faith and acts righteously; it is they who will receive double the recompense for their deeds. They shall live in lofty mansions in perfect peace.” (QS. Saba’/Sheba: 37).
Ibn Katsir wrote in his tafseer, 3:714:
It means the high houses of Paradise, in peaceful condition, safe from hostility, fear, disturbance, and all disliked evil.
3. Have faith in Allah and His messenger, and join the holy war in Allah’s Cause. Allah decreed,
“Believers, shall I direct you to a commerce that will deliver you from a grievous chastisement? Have faith in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the Way of Allah with your possessions and your lives. That is better for you if you only knew. He will forgive you your sins and will admit you to Gardens beneath which rivers flow. He will lodge you in excellent mansions in the Gardens of eternity. That is the supreme triumph.” (QS ash-Shaf : 10-12).
Ibn Katsir explained in his tafseer: 4:464:
“It means that if you’ve done what I order and guide you to, then I will forgive all of your mistakes and I will put you inside the Paradise and give you a good place to settle and high degree of honor.”
4. Have faith in Allah and affirm the messengers. The Prophet ever said:
“”Indeed, the residents of Paradise will see the owner of the rooms above them, as they see the twinkling stars in the earth or west sky, due to the level difference between them. They asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Are those the houses of the prophets, which can’t be reached by others?’. The Prophet answered, ‘No, by Allah Who has my soul in His hand, it could be reached by those who have faith in Allah and affirm the messengers. ” (Muttafaqun ‘alaihi).
5. Fear of Allah, as explained in Allah’s verse below:
{لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ}
“But those who fear their Lord shall have lofty mansions built over one another beneath which rivers flow. This is Allah’s promise and never does Allah fail to fulfill His promise.” (QS az-Zumar : 20).
Ibn Katsir said in his tafseer, 4:64:
“It means a high, terraced house.”
6. Keep asking sincerely to Allah, to be given a martyrdom in His Cause. The Messenger -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- explained in his saying:
“Whoever ask martyrdom honestly to Allah, indeed, Allah will bring him to the level of the martyrs even though he died on his bed.” (Narrated by Muslim).
Muhammad Ibn Shalih al Uthaymeen explained in his work, ” Syarah Riyadh ash-Shalihin”, 1:285:
“”If someone ask Allah, saying: “O Allah! Indeed, I beg You to give me martyrdom in Your Cause, -the meaning of martyrdom is none other than fighting in war to uphold Allah’s words- “, then if Allah know the honesty of his words and intention, He will place him on the houses of the martyrs even though he died on his bed.”
Why wouldn’t we take advantage of this great reward that only takes about 5 seconds?
7. Build a mosque sincerely to get Allah’s reward, even if it is just as big as a bird’s nest. The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said:
“Whoever build a mosque to get Allah’s reward, even if it is just as big as hole in which birds put its egg in, or smaller, Allah will build for him (a house) like that in Paradise.” (Narrated by Ibn Maja, Al Baihaqi, al Bazzar, and Ibn Hibban in his book of valid hadith, and classed valid by Al Albani in “Shahih al-Jaami’ “, hadith no. 6128)
The meaning of (مفحص قطاة) is a hole used by birds to put their eggs in. And (قطاة) is a kind of wild dove.
Al Haafizh Ibn Hajar said in “al Fath”, 1:679:
“”(The sentence) ‘Whoever build a mosque’ has general attribute, to comprise all in its kind, thus including the large and the small one.
Moreover, the reward also applies even to those who give alms, although just a piece of brick or what resembles it for the construction of the mosque.
8. Go to the mosque at the dawn and evening to perform congregational prayer and other worshipping activities. The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said:
“Whoever goes to the mosque at dawn or at night, then Allah prepared for him a place to stay in paradise every time he left. ” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
Al Haafizh Ibn Hajar in “Fathul Bari”, 2:183, said, : (نُزُلاً) with the vowel ‘u’ for the letters nun and zai, means every place prepared for resting, and with a dead vowel for the letter zai, means every place that is prepared to welcome the newcomer, in form of guest reception, and the like.
Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen in “Syarah Riyadhush Shalihin”, 3:202 said:
“The textual meaning of this hadith shows that anyone who goes to the mosque early in the morning or afternoon, whether he goes early to perform prayer or to study or to do other form of goodness, will be prepared a place to live in Paradise.
9. Connect the row during the congregational prayer by closing the gap between him and person next to him. The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said:
“Whoever closes the gap between row in prayer, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise and raise his degree.” (Narrated by al Muhaamili in his amaali and classed valid by Al Albani in “Silsilah ash-Shahihah”, hadith no. 1892).
How are we supposed to refuse this chance, if it only take three seconds to accomplish?
10. Perform 12 rak’ahs of voluntary prayers before and after the compulsory prayers everyday, namely the four rak’ahs before the zuhur prayer and two rak’ahs after that, 2 rak’ahs after maghrib prayer, 2 rak’ahs after isya’ prayer, and 2 rak’ahs before the fajr prayer. The Messenger said,
“`Whoever prays twelve Rak`ah in a day and a night, a house will be built for him in Paradise: Four Rak`ah before Zuhr , two Rak`ah after it, two Rak`ah after Maghrib , two Rak`ah after `Ishâ’ , and two Rak`ah before Fajr prayer .” (Narrated by An Nisa’i and classed valid by Al Albani in “Shahih al-Jaami’”, hadith no. 6183)
Imam Muslim also narrated from an Nu’man Ibn Salim, from Amr Ibn Aus, he said, “Ambasah Ibn Abu Sufyan has told me, during the illness that caused his death, one hadith that he was proud of. Ambasah said, ‘I heard Umm Habiba said: I heard the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said:
Whoever performs 12 rak’ahs of prayer every day and night, will get a house built for him in Paradise.
Umm Habiba said, “I never left it (the prayer, -ed) since I heard about it from the Messenger of Allah.”
Ambasah said, “I never left it since I heard about it from Umm Habiba.”
Amr Ibn Aus said, “I never left it since I heard about it from Ambasah.”
An Nu’man Ibn Salim said, “”I never left it since I heard about it from Amr Ibn Aus.”
How come a believer does not want this high reward, such a great reward for a deed that only needs about 30 minutes to accomplish!
11. Perform four rak’ahs of dhuha prayer and four rak’ahs before the zuhur prayer, as narrated by Al Albani from the compilation of the valid hadith. The Messenger of Allah said,
“Whoever perform four rak’ahs of dhuha prayer, and four rak’ahs before the first prayer (the zuhur prayer), will get a house built for him in Paradise.” (Narrated by ath Thabrani in “al Ausath”, and classed valid by Al Albani in “Silsilah Ahaadits Shahihah”, hadith no. 2349).
How come a believer leave this righteous deed, while it only takes 20 minutes to do?
12. Recite the chapter Al Ikhlas plenty of time, 10 times in minimum, every day. The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said:
“”Whoever recite the “qulhuwa allahu ahad” (Say: “He is Allah, the One and Unique;) until the end for 10 times, Allah will build for him a palace in Paradise.” Umar asked, “If so, shall we multiply our palace O Messenger of Allah?”. He replied, “Allah is more and better.” (Narrated by Ahmad, classed valid by Al Albani in “Silsilah Shahihah”, hadith no. 589 part 2:137).
How can a believer leave this tremendous reward, while it only takes him 3 minutes to finish it!
13, 14, 15, and 16. Decent talk, give food to the poor, fast regularly, and perform the night prayer. The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said,
““Indeed in Paradise there are chambers, whose outside can be seen from their inside, and their inside can be seen from their outside.” A Bedouin stood and said: “Who are they for, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “For those who speak well, feed others, fast regularly (the Daud/David fast), and perform prayer [for Allah] during the night while the people sleep.” (Narrated by At Tirmidhi, and classed valid by al Albani in “Shahih Sunan at-Tirmidzi”, hadith no. 1984)
17, 18, and 19. Abandon unnecessary debate even though it contains elements of truth, abandon all lies, and always practice the good manners.
“‘I am the claimant of a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who refrains from opinion based arguing, even if he is in the right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for the one who refrains from lying, even when he is joking, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character good.” (Narrated by Abu Daud, classed valid by Al Albani in “shahih sunan Abi dawud”, hadith no. 4015).
20. Be patience over the loss of children. As explained in the saying of the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- below:
“`When a child of the slave (of Allah) dies, Allah says to the angels: “Have you taken My slave’s child?” They reply: “Yes.” He says: “Have you taken the fruits of his work.” They reply: “Yes.” So He says: “What did My slave say?” They reply: “He praised you and mentioned that to You is the return.” So Allah says: “Build a house in Paradise for My slave, and name it `the house of praise.”’ (Narrated by At Tirmidhi, and classed valid by Al Albani in “Silsilah Ahadis Shahihah”, hadith no. 1408)
21 and 22. Visit the sick or brother and sister in faith, based on a saying of the Messenger of Allah :
“`Whoever visits the sick, or visits his brother in Allah (faith), a caller calls out: `May you have goodness and your livelihood be good, and may you dwell in an abode in Paradise.” (Narrated by At Tirmidhi and classed valid by Al Albani in “Shahih Sunan at-Tirmidzi”, hadith no. 1633)
What a great reward, for a deed that only takes about one fourth of an hour.
23. Recite the supplication upon entering the market. As explained in the Prophet’s saying:
“Whoever enters a market and supplicate with the supplication:
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without any partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is living and does not die. In His hand is all good and He is over all things, omnipotent.’
Then Allah will bestow upon him one million goodnesses, and erase from him one million sins, and raise his degree one million degrees, and a house will be built for him in Paradise.” (Narrated by at Tirmidhi and Ibn Maja, and classed valid by al Albani in “Shahih al-Jaami’”, hadith no. 11176)
And it takes no more than 15 seconds.
Now you believe it?
You can build a house in Paradise just in :
30 minutes by performing 12 rak’ahs of rawatib prayer everyday.
20 minutes by performing 8 rak’ahs (4 rak’ah of dhuha prayer and 4 rak’ah before the zuhur prayer).
15 minutes by visiting the sick or brother in faith.
3 minutes by reciting chapter al Ikhlas 10 times a day.
15 seconds by reciting the supplication upon entering the market.
5 seconds by asking Allah for martyrdom.
3 seconds by tightening the row during prayer and closing the gaps between you and person next to you.
Subhanallah, just by doing these simple deeds, we will get a house in Paradise, which was explained by the Messenger of Allah in his saying:
“`Building in Paradise, its Bricks of silver and of gold. Its mortar is musk of a strong fragrance, and its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its earth is saffron. Whoever enters it shall feel joy and shall not suffer, and he shall live and shall not die, nor shall their clothes wear out, nor shall their youth come to an end.’ ” (Narrated by Ahmad and at Tirmidhi from Abu Huraira, and Sheikh al Albani classed it as a valid hadith in “Shahih al-Jaami’”, hadith no. 3116).
Let’s do the deeds to build our HOUSE in Paradise!
