The Love to The Prophe
Author : Ustadz Abu Ahmad Said Yai, Lc.MA
In a hadith narrated by Anas Ibn Malik -may Allah be pleased with him-, a man asked the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- about the Last Day. He said, :
“When will the Last Day come?”. He replied, “What have you prepared for it?”. The man answered, “Nothing (that I’ve prepared), except that I love Allah and His messenger.” Then the Prophet said, “You’ll be with the ones you love.” [1]
This news surely will please the muslims, because they still have the chance to be with the Prophet – peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- later in Paradise. An example whose names is keep being mentioned until now. An apostle, whom Allah sent to him the Qur’an.
But to be with the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- is not that easy. In fact, there are several hadith that explained about the righteous deeds that could bring us closer to the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- later in Paradise [2]. Among those deeds is that we are supposed to keep attempting to love the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-.
This paper consists of four parts, namely: the ruling of loving the Prophet, how to realize it, the signs of people who truly love the Prophet, and the signs of those who doesn’t love him- peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-.
I deliberately don’t cite the indications, because if it were cited, then this paper would be too long, whereas it is just meant to be an outline of what I’m going to tell later in my sermon.
I hope that by listening to the sermon and explanation I’ve delivered later, the participants could listen to the indications and get more comprehensive benefits from it.
