There is A Man Who continues to Live After His Death!

My friend,

This writing is an invitation for me and all muslims, to be knowledgeable in religious affairs, realize it, and teach and spread it among people…

My friend,

Let’s study our religious knowledges, and you’ll continue to live after your death…..

The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said,

“When a man passed away, his deeds will be cut away from him, but three things; his charitable deed, or beneficial knowledge, or pious children who prayed for him.” (Narrated by Muslim)

Ibn al Qayyim -may Allah have mercy on him- said,

“And this is the greatest evidence of the nobility and excellence of knowledge and the greatness of it’s result, because indeed, the rewards will reach the one (who taught the knowledge during his lifetime) after his death as long as people are still benefited from that knowledge; as if he is still alive, his deeds aren’t cut away from him, even people keep on remembering him and continue to praise him; the continuing rewards that reach him at the time when all people are cut away from their deeds is a second life (for him, -ed).” (See: “Miftah Dar As Sa’adah”, by Ibn al Qayyim -may Allah have mercy on him-).

The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said,

“Indeed, what reach a believer from his deed and kindness after his death are the knowledge that he taught and spread, a pious children that he left behind, a copy of the Qur’an that he left as an inheritance or a mosque that he built, a house for the traveller who were running out of their provision that he built, a river which he helped to stream it, or an alms that he spent from his wealth when he was healthy and alive; all these are the deeds that he will meet after his death.” (Narrated by Ibn Maja, and classed sahih by Al Albani in his work, “Shahih Al Jami’).

Let’s see….in fact, the key of every deed which reward will be given to someone who did it even after his death, lies on the religious knowledge. Subhanallah…!

My friend, I’m sure, we could do something regarding the religious knowledge….

By learning it
and practicing or realizing it
and teaching people and spreading it to them, although only by spreading the cassettes, CDs, brochures, announcements of useful Islamic lessons, and the likes.

Good luck in striving to stay alive after your death!
